About

A small studio that delivers what big ones promise.

ProcessHive is an AI and automation studio in Parede, between Lisbon and Cascais. We build systems for clients — and products of our own, like StreamEstate — with one rule: only what works in production counts.

The story

Why ProcessHive exists

ProcessHive was born from a frustration seen up close: companies paying for presentations about AI while their teams kept copying data between systems by hand. The market was full of strategy and empty of execution.

Founded by Miguel Belo, the studio does the opposite of the usual: it starts with the most painful process, gets a system working within weeks, and only then talks about roadmaps. That's how it went with our first clients' automations, with the Varandas Coelho website, and with StreamEstate — our real-estate co-brokerage product, built from scratch.

We work in Portuguese and English, on site around Lisbon and remotely anywhere.

The name

Why "hive"?

In a beehive, no cell is decorative: each hexagon is the most efficient way to store the most with the least material, and each bee plays a clear role in a system that runs without constant supervision.

That's our engineering reference: many small, well-designed processes working together with zero waste. The right automation isn't one giant robot — it's a hive of simple, reliable workflows.

Principles

How we work

No hype

We don't sell "digital transformation". We tell you what AI does well today, what it doesn't yet, and what that means for your case — even when the answer is "not yet".

Production first

A demo impresses; a system in production pays salaries. We optimise for the second: error handling, logs, monitoring and handover are part of every project.

Clear scope and pricing

Fixed pricing per project wherever possible, honest estimates when not. Surprises are for birthdays.

Small on purpose

A small studio, fast decisions, direct access to the people who build. When a project needs more hands, we bring trusted partners — never layers of management.

Shall we see if we're a fit?

An honest 45-minute conversation: your context, the real opportunities and what we would do first. If we're not the right choice, we'll tell you.
