Varandas Coelho
A construction company with 33 years of engineering — Portugal's LSF pioneer, selected for an international Porsche campaign and featured on SIC Notícias — needed a digital presence to match its track record. We built the site, the conversion tools and the SEO engine.

The challenge
Varandas Coelho has what most competitors don't: 33 years of delivered work, pioneering Light Steel Framing (LSF) construction in Portugal, a project selected for an international Porsche campaign and a feature on SIC Notícias' Espaços & Casas. But anyone searching for "LSF construction" or "turnkey fixed-price home" couldn't find them — and visitors to the old site saw none of it.
The goal was twofold: capture the demand that already existed on Google, and convert visitors into qualified quote requests — including foreign investors building in Portugal.
What we built
- A bilingual PT/EN website with dedicated landing pages for German and French investors — the most relevant international markets for construction in Portugal.
- A cost-per-m² simulator that answers every client's first question in 60 seconds — and turns the curious into contacts.
- A technical quote form that qualifies each request before it reaches the engineering team: plot, typology, construction system, licensing stage.
- Local landing pages for Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra and the Algarve — each addressing the real constraints of the area (zoning plans, sea-air corrosion, mountain microclimate).
- A technical blog and guides: LSF vs masonry, licensing, the 10-year warranty, sustainability — content that answers the questions clients actually ask.
- Verifiable social proof: testimonials from real projects (Sporting Clube de Portugal, hotel work in Fátima, heritage rehabilitation in the Azores) with a note that originals are available for physical inspection.
SEO and GEO from the structure up
The site was designed around the sector's real searches: "fixed contractual price", "LSF vs masonry", "turnkey construction", "nZEB". Every page has a clean semantic hierarchy, structured data and content that answers concrete questions — the format both Google and answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) prefer to cite.
The result is a site that doesn't depend on paid ads to be found: every article and every local page is an entry point for a client with real intent to build.
